Gourmet Food Parlour Review
We spent this Valentine’s Day as a family and decided to go to our favourite spot for brunch, The Gourmet Food Parlour in Swords. I thought I would share some of the images I took from our lovely day. It is a great spot for anyone but especially families as the staff are very warm and accommodating to the little ones.
I opted for my favourite thing in the world! Pancakes!! These American style pancakes reminded me of my summer I spent in New York and came with streaky bacon, maple syrup and surprisingly rocket. But they were amazing and it all worked so well together. It is the last image below for all you foodies like myself. Phil had a fry up and judging by his silence I know he was well impressed. Wasn’t greasy like some fry ups can be. We asked for scrambled egg for Cara which we got but the only thing was the portion was way too big (we were actually charged for an adult portion)
We had a gorgeous little day together so thank you to the staff for looking after us so well as usual. We will be back very soon!
We then headed off to our other fav spot Malahide Park for a walk and quick coffee in Avoca Café. My outfit is Penny’s, the jeans are the boyfriend fit and nautical jumper top was a steal at €10, luxury pom pom beanie hat is from Suzanne Ryan Millinery.
Hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day and Happy Friday!! Make sure to pop into a Gourmet Food Parlour near you. Here is a link to the website for anyone interested
